Welcome to the Birkdale United AFC club website, we are an FA Charter Community Football Club, located in Birkdale, Southport, in Merseyside. The club proudly host a junior boys football section through to a men’s team, and a junior girls football section through to a youth team, all of whom play their home games in Southport. Right now, there’s a great chance to get involved, with Birkdale United, the areas only FA Charter Community Club are looking to recruit new players of all ages.
We train locally in Birkdale, and play all our matches at Bedford Park, Birkdale on Saturdays and Sundays.
All Birkdale United coaching staff hold a minimum of FA Level 1 coaching qualifications, and have all received enhanced CRB clearance from The FA.
