This was the second derby game in a few weeks. With Birkdale R winning the first match 2-1, Birkdale S wanted to show the real them.Birkdale S were straight into the game dominating the play from the first whistle. It wasn’t long before Birkdale S were 1-0 up – the goal came from a defence splitting pass from Welford to O`Neill who finished it off, slotting the ball into the goal. (more…)

Birkdale S vs Town Green Lions

The first round of the cup put Birkdale up against Town Green Lions at Carr Lane. Birkdale were up for this game today and from the kick off looked good and were challenging for every ball. (more…)
