Must mention Teddy Bears picnic. Went down a storm with the lads. Thanks to the guest of honour Mister Pooooh Bear. I thank you, Sir Poooh.
Well let’s get down to business. We went to work on Southport, the first half was very exciting. Lots of tackles from the boys. Allen had a great game as defender and goal keeper, and Shaw played really well in goals well in.
Parker , Woods and Rawling battled away in midfield, well done men. Pritchard had a steady game up front along with Allen brilliant lads. Sharrock was back to his old form solid as a rock, well done.
The half time whistle blew and I needed to get the info to the boys. If we scored a goal in the second half we could go on to win this one. Guess what? Woods only buried the ball into the back of the net. What a goal, the crowd went wild, they where hugging and kissing each other. It was messy, let me tell you. The chant of HERE WE GO ,HERE WE GO HERE WE GOOOOOW. It was like being in the Kop at Liverpool. A pleasure to see. Well done the Blues, great performance boys.
