Our last league game was at home to Euxton. After Wednesday’s very poor display against Southport, the girls were told to get hold of the ball and pass it around and from the first whistle they did just that and were looking like they wanted to win.

 Birkdale took the lead from a Elliott corner that was perfectly place into a crowded box and Edmonson hit the back of the goal making it 1-0 to the home side.The rest of the game was much the same with Euxton not getting past Birkdale’s solid defence, so the game ended 1-0 to Birkdale. Player of the Match was L. Smith.
